Pain specialist participates for the third time in the employee survey and cultural audit of the Great Place to Work® Institute, to reach its self-defined objective of becoming “best employer”.
Aachen (Germany), 4. July, 2013 – At the end of June the Great Place to Work Institute® granted the Grünenthal Group the award of being one of the best employers in Europe. A few weeks before, the pharmaceutical company, specialists in pain research, with headquarters in Aachen, Germany, were pleased to receive the equivalent prize for the Latin American region.
Grünenthal sets itself high standards
According to the results of the employee survey, the employees of the family-owned company are very committed and dedicated in what they do and take a great deal of pride in their company. Especially regarding the working environment, measures to improve employee health and the compatibility of work and family the international company sets high standards and continuously develops its portfolio.
Dr. Heinz-Gerd Suelmann, Executive Vice President Global Human Resources explains Grünenthal’s outstanding commitment and dedication. “We want to provide our employees with a high-class working environment that allows everybody to do an excellent job. The annual “Great Place to Work” survey is an important instrument providing neutral feedback for the development of our company culture. The results show where the first milestones have already been reached and where there is still room for development. The Grünenthal affiliates in Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Mexico, Colombia and Peru have already made it on the respective list of the best national employers. For Suelmann receiving this award is a success and obligation at the same time: “Now we have to further expand, maintain and build our unique culture to drive a best practice between all our affiliates to become a great working place worldwide.
