Grünenthal to acquire Stivarga

We are thrilled to announce an agreement to acquire Stivarga^® (regorafenib), a medicine used to treat specific advanced cancers. Grünenthal announces pricing of €850 million of bonds

We have announced the successful pricing of €850 million of bonds, due 2032. The transaction will refinance our existing 2028 and 2030 bonds, extend our debt maturity profile and enhance our financial flexibility – further strengthening the foundation for our long-term growth. It builds on several years of strong business and financial performance: since 2017, we have nearly quadrupled adjusted EBITDA, from €129 million to a record €500 million in 2025.

Tegacorat (GRM-01) received FDA Orphan Drug and Rare Pediatric Disease Designations

Grünenthal receives FDA Orphan Drug and Rare Pediatric Disease Designations for tegacorat for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Tegacorat, a non-steroidal Selective Glucocorticoid Receptor Agonist and Modulator (SEGRAM), is an orally available investigational compound being developed to provide an alternative to glucocorticoid-based treatments such as prednisone, the current standard of care in DMD.

Completion of the NOP Phase I trial

Grünenthal successfully concluded a Phase I trial evaluating the safety and tolerability of its proprietary NOP agonist. An upcoming Phase II trial aims to enroll 400 US-based patients undergoing bunionectomy – a well-established model for evaluating the efficacy and safety of a compound as a treatment for acute pain. The trial will commence later this year with results expected in the second half of 2027.
